Queensland Pool Fencing Laws
Pool safety fencing is compulsory in Queensland under QDC MP 3.4. Key requirements: minimum fence height of 1.2m, no climbable objects within 900mm of fence, self-closing self-latching gates, no direct access from a habitable building into the pool enclosure.
